Grenco Ltd are a developer client who likes to team high quality materials with unusual design. For this project, the palette of natural slate with a wall to roof metal cladding was selected.

The design was developed to utilise the materials in a contemporary way. This included a radius curve between the roof and walls to create a striking feature. The interior was designed as reverse level, to maximise views to the countryside from the first floor at the site.

The technical design was developed to utilise off-site manufacture of timber frame panel, which are highly insulated to create an energy efficient design.
