Completed in October 2017, this private dwelling nestled within a rural valley was a real pleasure for the team at Fearnley Lott Architects.

The brief was to create a modern home with Arts and Crafts detailing. Every detail was considered, including the way in which the local stone was laid, to create a beautifully crafted home.

The angled plan brings interesting internal places and roofscapes, and cast in situ concrete detailing used to create bookends and balconies to further articulate the design.
