Case Study
Conversion:
Situated within the conservation area, in a beautiful building on the Quay was a former commercial office space with suspended ceilings and a soulless interior.
The brief was to leave the exterior of the building untouched, and convert the first floor into a ‘New York style’ loft apartment. This was designed by exposing the more modern structure for an industrial feel, and then introducing crittal glazing doors and a light well in order to light and ventilate the space. Modern parquet flooring, teamed with a very clever interior fit out (props to Blueberry Ltd) gives a great result.
Due to the location of the practice, we work on many properties that are designed to be holiday lets or holiday homes. We have experience in getting the right balance of combination and the complimentary facilities.
